April Book Review

Plaited Glory: For Colored Girls Who’ve Considered Braids, Locks, and Twists by Lonnice Brittenum Bonner
This was my first natural hair book. It is a good book for those who are just making the decision to go natural and want to learn about what they can do with their hair. As I have been natural on and off for years, it didn’t give me the information that I needed. As the title suggests, it focuses primarily upon braids, locs and twists and as such is very limited in styles.
