I wasn’t really sure how many to get because I was unsure how many locs I could fit on a curler. So I got three packs (30 each, for a total of 90) just to be on the safe side. In the past, I have used about 70 hard curlers with about one loc per curler. I only ended up using about 52 with 1-2 locs per curler. As soon I put them in, I preferred them to traditional curlers or perm rods because they are so light and soft. I washed my locs today, so I did not use any setting lotion.

I didn’t keep them in as long as I should have because I do need to leave the house today, but I still got a nice wavy look. Next time I will try using setting lotion and sleeping in them to see if I get more curl on some of my thicker locs.
